Rent can often be hard to pay. People on low incomes can get help to pay their rent, this is called Housing Benefit.

Council Tax Benefit can help people on low incomes to pay their Council Tax bill.

If you would like to make a claim for Housing Benefit and/or Council Tax Benefit or you need any more advice or information you can contact the Benefits Team or see us at any one of our three District Offices.  We can either complete the claim form over the phone for you, or post a form out to you for you to complete your self, or you can Download a Form to Complete.
