Housing and Council Tax Benefits
Swale Borough Council administers Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit for people in the Borough of Swale. These payments are made on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions.
We operate within the laws and guidelines laid down for these benefits. These are sometimes very complicated. However we hope that the following pages give a simple outline of the schemes.
We are committed to working together with everyone to try and improve our service. We want to help those in our Borough meet their needs wherever possible.
